Creating and developing DACs of amazing quality is nothing new for Musical Fidelity. In reality their first DAC, the Digilog, was launched right after the first digital source (the CD player) became available in the late 1980s. All of the DACs they've constructed since then have been both extremely applauded by reviewers and treasured by their owners.
The M6 DAC provides just outstanding performance using the very most current, cutting edge conversion innovation. Its flexible input connections enable any music lover to experience a level of emotion and information in their music that is, so frequently, unrecoverable.
Along with the standard AES and SPDIF connections (XLR and Coax/Optical respectively), the M6 includes an asynchronous USB input connection appropriate for a wide array of computer system sources. In addition, the Bluetooth receiver permits many portable music gadgets to connect and play music too.
All of Musical Fidelity's DACs have received appreciation from audio magazines, from best across the globe. Some have become famous; a lot of them are collectors' items. We're confident the M6 will continue this tradition.
The M6 uses totally differential balanced DACs in an advanced dual mono PCB layout. A completely stabilized, universal accuracy controlled digital power supply is deployed and leadings to a very peaceful electrical supply that permits music to be delivered without distortion or distraction by unwanted mains power artifacts.
All inputs are asynchronously re-clocked and upsampled to 192kHz permitting the very greatest conversion precision without any intrusive digital filtering which so frequently influences music in digital systems.
